Thank you everyone for all your comments in my blog. My apologies for not replying.

I have been very busy lately and has problem finding time to blog; not even at my food blog. *sob*

I'm angry at myself for not able to better manage my time. Sad that my blogs have been neglected (I didn't even have time to do crafts with the kids now *sob*) but Happy I'm still able to squeeze in some time to post this short video of 妹妹. *wink*

So how do you express yourself when you are angry, sad or happy?

Now I'm 10 years older ...

2 weeks ago I asked 哥哥 for his opinion on hairstyle and he like 爸爸 ask me to perm my hair and since then he has been nagging non-stop for me to go the saloon. He even suggested that he take care of 妹妹 so I can go. Haha ... 爸爸 took leave today so I can go to the saloon.

Erhmm .... not quite what I expected. Not used to it but the rest of them like it and 妹妹 insist of having a hair cut too. She ended up with a hair cut too. Hai...

The other not very adorable man said I look 10 years old now, compared to my last look and about time liao. Grr ....

Home Learning Link Project

妹妹 started school about 3 weeks ago. By the looks on how she behaves in 哥哥's school last year, I bet she has been waiting for the day she can go school. She enjoys school a lot. The moment the school door opens, she would dash in without even bidding me farewell. Her teacher who was also 哥哥's teacher when he attended pre-school there, told me she is doing very well.

Anyway, last week 妹妹 came home with a leaflet in her bag. It's a Home Learning Link Project from school which we are suppose to do with our child to help enhance the child's education throught connection of their parents. This is what it was stated in the leaflet. To me, it's homework. *laughs*

妹妹 had fun because I used paints for the project and she didn't stop after we finished the project. She continued making a mess and got paints all over her hands and legs. *laughs*

My tummy is like a drum

This happened last week while 哥哥 was switching channels ...

哥哥 : 妈妈, see that (Slim Spa advertisement on tv)! That's the one I wanted to tell you.
妈妈 : Yes, what about that?
哥哥 : It helps your tummy become smaller.
妈妈 : Why? My tummy very big meh?
哥哥 : Hmm ... wait. I see .... (he then wrap both his arms around my waist and then gently taps on my tummy)
哥哥 : Yes, you need. See, your tummy like a drum. So big.
妈妈 : Grr ....

So very not adorable. LOL

3,000 worries silk

I want a new look! So bored with long straight hair.

爸爸 knew it because I kept asking him what hair style is nice. *giggle* He hates it when I ask him that because I can never decide. *laughs* Anyway, he suggested I perm my hair. Hmm...

He has taken a day's leave next week so I could go to the saloon and he is paying. *wink* I will decide then what to do with my hair. Ask the professionals - better.

I do miss my short hair. I haven't have short hair since I have kids. Short cut is high on maintenance. *laughs*

There's a mad woman in my block

I tell myself ... must not scream at 哥哥 this year. Must talk sense to him. Make him sit down and listen. I failed on the 10th of 2008, I screamed and the whole block where I lived can hear me. Urgh! People must be thinking ... Oh! Must be that mad woman screaming at her kid again.

You see, he has now promoted himself to be the Chief of Mischief and recruited his sister to be his subject for mischief. For any mischief, whether dangerous or not, which he know will get him into trouble, he will tell his sister to do it and personally show her how to do. If he get caught before he could finish conducting the act, he will try his best to do it again and will not stop unless someone gets hurt, who is usually his sister. *faint*

It's so frustrating I wished to bang my head on the wall. Why are our the little angels over our shoulders always losing to that evil little devils at the other side? *sigh* I will continue trying to talk and not scream at him. At least, I hope the next time I do scream, it will be 20 days or longer from now. Or very soon someone might just report me to the mental institute.

Anyway, 爸爸 send me this video and I find it very calming for me and I have been watching it each time I feel frustrated. At least if iced water didn't help cool me down, this does.

Who gives me the most pocket money?

Yeah! I'm looking forward to 3 cheques from Nuffnang, Adsense and Advertlets. My first cheque from Adsense and Advertlets. And my second from Nuffnang. Hopefully I will be able to receive all next month.

I included Adsense in my blogs from 11 March 2007 and both Nuffnang and Advertlets on 11 May 2007. It's 10 months now for Adsense and 8 months for the other two. How much have I earned from these ads? Who brings me the most pocket money?

Here the results ...

Nuffnang in first place, with approximately S$250*.
Adsense in second place, with approximately US$100*.
Advertlets in last place with, approximately RM200*.

I don't care what system they are using, cost per click, per unique visitor, blah, blah, blah. At the end of the day, it's how much pocket money I can get from it. Then that works best for my blogs.

I guess the one showing me Sing Dollars in the earnings page is still better for me.

Advertlets ... is indeed so interesting

I tried to go to my blog just a while ago and I was redirected to another site with the words "Advertlets.com ... find something interesting" on the top left corner. Huh? Clicked my other blogs and the same thing happened. What's this?!

I clicked on the link to see if I will indeed find something interesting. Sure I did! The domain name has expired! My God! How can this happened?! How could THEY have let it happened? This is so very interesting. *shakes head* So this is how you operate a business. *sighs*

I doubt they have wind-up. They better not because I just requested for payment yesterday. Remember to pay my S$100 huh. Can buy 3 cans of milk powder you know. It took me 8 months to earn that leh. *hubby laughing* And if my readers run away because of this, I'm gonna kill you! Nah, kidding. I don't have much readers.

But I do wished could give the people in Advertlets a knock on the head. Why? Because there were no hits for all my blogs since last evening and hence lesser earnings from Adsense too. *sighs* I'm just a dollar short to cashing out. Grrr .... Glad I found out early and removed all Advertlets ads.

I wonder how are they going to answer to the bloggers and advertisers. Big trouble. What a bad start for 2008 for Advertlets. Guess it's not a very 8 (发) year for them.

I have no idea how to get in touch with them. So I'll just have to wait for this to be resolved, hopefully soon. For the time being, it's bye-bye Advertlets!

Rooms for everyone

What have I been busy with? Other than my birthday and the celebrations, I have been busy doing spring cleaning for the new year. Chinese New Year is close to 1 month away only!

I packed some toys and clothes that the kids had out grown in for a friend's sister. Then I cleaned, scrubbed and washed 2 bedrooms.

The next day I moved furnitures from 哥哥's room to the playroom and 妹妹's stuff to 哥哥's room. Redecorated both rooms. Fixed up new furnitures and fixings we bought from Ikea. *pant*

Yup, I alone did all that in two days! 哥哥's red sport car bed was super heavy, I think my arm muscle grew just moving that alone! I think I can be handymum if I decided to give up wokking. *stick out tongue*

Everyone is happy to have their own room now. The master bedroom looks soooo spacious now. Oh yes, 妹妹 sleeps alone now in her own room since New Year!

I'm not quite done with spring cleaning yet. Still have lots of walls to scrub. Anyone interested to help? I can always get an extra set of rubber gloves. *wink*

Greetings from Malaysia

This is yet another back dated post ...

爸爸 is so jealous because after I received a Christmas card from June, I received cards from San on 26 Dec , then from Eva, KF and Sun the following day! He asked why is it that I can get greeting cards whilst staying home and he got nothing. *giggle* Next time, I send you one lah. Don't complain. LOL

Sorry the postman gave me your cards late but I'm still really glad to get them! Thank you so much for your greetings all the way from Malaysia!

A date with Bon

I had been extremely busy lately that I can hardly find time to blog. There were so many stuff I wanted to put down in my blog. Many were forgotten. *sigh* Sometimes I wish I could have Hermione's time turner.

This is really back-dated ...

We met up with my best friend from school on 20 Dec 2007. When was the last time I've seen her? Hmm .... the day 妹妹 was born or was it the day after! *tsk, tsk, tsk*

Ai ya! She is a very busy lady - workaholic successful career woman! But no matter how busy she was, she never forgets my birthday! We were classmates when we were studying accounts but both ended up not doing anything related to accounts. I knew my husband during that time too so she knew him too. In fact, there was a debate over why I choose him over ... *ahem* But she thinks I made the right choice. *laughs* It has been ... 19 years?

Then we went to look for jobs together and ended up working in the same company, in the same division. In fact, our departments worked hand in hand with each other. We both quit a few years later and worked in different companies but now in the same line! Many years later, I decided to change line and she told me of an opening in her company. I went for the interview and got in. Colleagues once again and under the same Director!

As usual, we had lots of fun working together. Bet she will not forget all the Sales contact dinners and presentations we had to help out in and how her boss made us (including her boss) wear identical 'uniforms' during one of the trip to Batam to view the company's factory (see picture below). *laughs*

Wished we had more time to catch up. There is so much to talk about I don't even know where to start!

She promised to met up again during Chinese New Year. *不要放我飞机!* This time, must ask her to come to my place so 爸爸 can take care of the kids while we chat! Can't wait! One more month to go!

Anyways, that day we met at 鼎泰豐 to have 小笼包. She bought so much gifts for all of us! We didn't wait till Christmas and opened them all! *laughs* Thank you so much!

I, being a penniless SAHM *stick out tongue*, only made a card and chocolates for her.

Okay, If you are reading this, I'm counting down to the day we met again! And this time, please don't bring any gifts! Just two mandarin oranges will do huh!
